Wills & Trusts: Estate Planning Is a Gift
This holiday season, give your family the gift that truly lasts: clarity, protection, and peace of mind.
A Will is a meaningful start, but as life changes, your plan may need more than you realize.
If you’ve bought a home, refinanced, opened new accounts, changed beneficiaries, remarried, or welcomed grandchildren… your Will may now be outdated without you even knowing it.
On December 17th, Attorney Dylon Newkirk of Four Corners Legacy Law will explain:
• When a Will needs to be updated (and how often)
• The common gaps a Will alone can’t fix
• The 2 most common types of trusts and how they help protect your family
• Simple steps to make sure your plan truly works when your loved ones need it
🎄 This season, give your family peace of mind they can count on.

Dylon Newkirk, Associated Attorney
Before joining Four Corners Legacy Law, Dylon gained hands-on experience at the Albany County Surrogate’s Court and worked with one of the Capital District’s largest Trusts & Estates practices. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with minors in Business and Economics from the State University of New York at Albany (2019) and his Juris Doctor from Albany Law School (2024).
Dylon chose to focus on estate planning as he comes from a very blended family and cares deeply about keeping families connected. He’s driven by the belief that family isn’t just about shared blood, as the law often assumes, but about the bonds we build. For Dylon, it’s about finding ways to legally bring families together, especially during hard times like illness or loss, and helping them avoid conflict with clear, thoughtful planning.
Outside of the office, Dylon is a true sportsman. He plays golf, ice hockey, and lacrosse (field and box) in local leagues across the Capital Region. In the fall, you can often find him outdoors with his Labrador Retriever, Schatzi, enjoying the fresh air and open fields.
