Our Team

Morgen founded Four Corners Legacy Law after serving business clients for over 20 years. Seeing a need for values and relationship-based estate planning, a need which is not met by the traditional model of estate planning, Morgen wanted a firm that reflected her goal of empowering clients to control their own futures, of keeping them and their families out of court and out of conflict, and of providing them peace of mind knowing things would not be a mess when they die. We are all future dead people, so lets make a plan now!

Morgen excels in guiding her clients through the often-confusing maze of financial and legal decisions to create plans that ensure the well-being of their families and the accomplishment of their cherished family goals. Her estate planning experience includes family protection, wealth preservation, and values-based planning, as well as planning strategies for unmarried couples and divorced individuals.

In September 2022 Morgen was honored with the coveted “Personal Family Lawyer®” (PFL) designation. The PFL designation is awarded to lawyers who have learned to help clients from a parent’s perspective to pass on their values and ensure their loved ones inherit what is most important and aren’t left with a big mess at the end of life. Personal Family Lawyers practice under a new business model that allows them to help their clients be better parents, better business owners, and better citizens of the community rather than just putting in place form documents that may or may not work when the family needs them.

Before joining Four Corners Legacy Law, Dylon gained hands-on experience at the Albany County Surrogate’s Court and worked with one of the Capital District’s largest Trusts & Estates practices. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with minors in Business and Economics from the State University of New York at Albany (2019) and his Juris Doctor from Albany Law School (2024).

Dylon chose to focus on estate planning as he comes from a very blended family and cares deeply about keeping families connected. He’s driven by the belief that family isn’t just about shared blood, as the law often assumes, but about the bonds we build. For Dylon, it’s about finding ways to legally bring families together, especially during hard times like illness or loss, and helping them avoid conflict with clear, thoughtful planning.

Outside of the office, Dylon is a true sportsman. He plays golf, ice hockey, and lacrosse (field and box) in local leagues across the Capital Region. In the fall, you can often find him outdoors with his Labrador Retriever, Schatzi, enjoying the fresh air and open fields.

Laura is our Case Manager. She works directly with our estate planning clients to ensure their peace of mind, knowing they have protected their families, themselves, and their loved ones. She is responsible for shepherding our clients through their life and legacy planning process while meeting and exceeding every expectation. Her enthusiasm, cheerfulness, and helpful nature ensures our clients that they are top priority.

Prior to joining us, Laura worked locally at Berkshire Bank in Chatham and Hudson where she connected daily with many members of our community. Earlier in her career, she spent a decade honing her customer service skills at New York University and B’nai Jeshurun in New York City. Laura loves animals, especially dogs, and enjoys spending time with her family.

Reina Parra is a Social Media Manager with a deep passion for storytelling and branding. With seven years of experience in advertising, she began her career in production before moving into copywriting.

Originally from Venezuela, Reina started her professional journey there and has since made Buenos Aires, Argentina, her home.

Reina is inspired by working with purpose-driven brands and creating content that truly resonates with people. Her diverse background includes industries such as dental clinics and mobile video game development, showcasing her adaptability and creativity. Outside of work, she enjoys writing, reading, and discovering new coffee shops in her city.

Michele is a key member of the team, supporting both clients and staff through a variety of important roles within the firm. She prepares and prints trust documents, assists with client communications, and serves as a witness for document signings. She also represents the firm at community events, where she helps individuals and families better understand their estate planning and trust options in a clear and approachable way.

With a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Russell Sage College, Michele spent years as a seventh-grade English teacher before transitioning into her current role. Her background brings strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a natural ability to make complex information easier to understand.

Michele is driven by a genuine desire to help others feel informed and comfortable throughout the process. She takes pride in creating a supportive experience for clients while contributing to the smooth day-to-day operations of the firm.

Outside of the office, Michele enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, participating in book clubs, and expressing her creativity through sewing and crafting. She values staying active and engaged while enjoying her retirement.

Sara is our Funding Coordinator and often the first friendly voice our clients hear. She helps ensure each interaction with our office feels welcoming, organized, and supportive from the very first call or visit. Sara plays an important role in keeping our team connected and our clients feeling cared for and confident as they begin their planning journey.

Prior to joining our team, Sara gained valuable experience as a Legal Assistant at another law office and worked with several local businesses, strengthening her connection to the community and showcasing her versatile, “jack of all trades” skill set. A Columbia County native, Sara is passionate about working in and with the community that raised her.

Outside of the office, Sara enjoys gardening, attending concerts, and hosting gatherings for friends and loved ones.

Anthony Lopez is the team’s Intake Specialist who cares deeply about every client interaction. He greets callers with a warm and welcoming approach, making sure they feel heard and supported no matter where they are in the estate planning process.

With more than five years of experience in intake, reception, and customer service, Anthony is dedicated to creating a positive experience for every client. His professionalism, attention to detail, and compassionate nature help ensure that each person who contacts Four Corners Legacy Law feels comfortable and confident from their very first conversation with our team.

Anthony takes pride in building meaningful connections and helping clients navigate the first steps of planning for their future with clarity and peace of mind.

Before beginning her career in the legal field, Emily Gulbrandsen built a professional background centered around client care, creativity, and entrepreneurship, including owning and operating Tiny Rituals, a boutique piercing and fine-line tattoo business. Her experience as a small business owner strengthened her communication, organization, attention to detail, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

Ready to take on a new professional challenge, Emily decided to pursue her long-standing interest in the legal field and returned to school, earning her Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies. She is excited to bring both her education and her diverse professional experience to her role at Four Corners Legacy Law, where she enjoys continuing to learn, supporting the firm and its clients, and building a meaningful career in the legal profession.

Outside of work, Emily is a proud mom who loves spending time with her son, family, and their dog. She is an avid Marvel fan, loves music, and enjoys gardening whenever the Upstate New York weather cooperates. Whether she is spending time with family, working on something creative, or getting lost in the Marvel universe, Emily values the little things that make life memorable.

Molly is our Equine Ambassador. With her calm strength and gentle spirit, she reminds us that caring for someone means planning for their well-being—not only today, but throughout their lifetime.

Molly represents the responsibility, commitment, and lasting love that come with welcoming an animal into the family. She inspires us to remind clients that pets are not “just pets.” They are family members who depend on us and deserve to be thoughtfully included in our plans for the future.

Morgen and Molly enjoy going out with the Old Chatham Hunt Club on crisp mornings and riding through the beautiful countryside that we are blessed with in Columbia County. She is forever grateful for the bounty of fields of corn to munch, grass to graze and trees to browse due to the generosity of the many landowners who believe in preserving our fields, woods, swamps and farmland.
